Nice place on two creeks. In the summer there looks like there is tubing on the river. The park even rents the tubes. There are lovely unpowered sites by the river. Paved/powered sites in other places with nice trees but not able to see the river. Lovely free hot showers and facilities.

The campsite is really nice. There weren't many pitches for campers, as most were occupied by tents. What was very annoying was the lack of internet access; the promised 5 GB of Wi-Fi per day wasn't available. The owner wasn't helpful, and unfortunately, buying additional internet access wasn't an option either.

A really lovely spot. Clean, great kitchen, good location. Definitely great for families with children. One of our best spots on the North Island.

With Top10 membership $50 for a powered site for 1 night We were running late but the office staff helpfully stayed open until we arrived just after 5pm The toilets and hot showers were clean There is 2GB of free WiFi but no phone signal The site is pleasantly situated next to a stream and is within about 30 minutes of The Big Tree We would stay here again

Very quiet campground right on the river. Good starting point for the Trounson Kauri Park. Facility is a bit old but clean.

What a wonderful place this is! Everything was there. Nice kitchen and wonderful showers. Very friendly staff. We hadn't made a reservation, but luckily there was still room. Highly recommended to stay.

I've very much enjoyed my stay. There were only a few other people. Good facilities and kind staff. There is no phone signal, but there is free wifi.

Absolutely wonderful place stay, receptionist was very welcoming and lovely as well as the staff we did meet very kid friendly with awesome playground area and beautiful walks and views everywhere no phone signal but wifi is included

Nice site, very beautiful surroundings. Empty at the moment, but very clean and well equipped.
