Campervan spots are marked - was able to get a spot after 8pm. No toilet though.
15/09/2026: Arrived at 19:20 and still a few spots left. Perfect option when Queenstown is full.
Only few spots, all were taken on 19:00 when I arrived. Why is it so hard to find a free camp in this area? Too bad
We arrived at 6:30 and we got the very last (legal) spot. The signs aren’t the clearest and can lead to confusion. The sign clearly says only 10 designated spots but there are about 14-15 spaces that seem to be in that area without a ‘no camping’ sign, so no one really knows who would be faulty or not. In the end about 18 vans camped here but there was no control. Parking space was leveled.
Okay spot in the car park of bungee jump. We arrived at 6 and there were still spots right through the night. Not busy at all. Good spot if Queenstown is full.
Great spot for around 10-12 vans by the AJ Hackett Bungee. Great views. Bit of road noise but didn’t bother me too much.
Gets full very very quickly. I have tried to stay here almost 10 times and it’s full almost every time no matter the time of day. Do not count on this spot. You are better off booking a hostel in town if you want a guaranteed spot to sleep especially as QT is now so anti freedom camping.
There are no level spots here, and it's close to a busy road. It is noisy and your caravan will be tilted. It’s actually just a parking lot for sports activities run by the local company."
Really cool to see the bungee jumping. Gets quite full but not until 7/8, wouldn’t worry about coming early. No toilets but lovely walk near by.
Good location. No spots left by 17:15 so get there early, especially on the weekend
