We arrived in the dark, a little isolated. It was empty and a bit spooky, so we continued on to Winton.

Just found the place. Behind the rugby field. Simple gravel place.

Not sure why people couldn’t find it. Simple if you know how google maps work. No sign posts but plenty of space for parking. Perfect for fully self contained. A quiet nights sleep.

From Te Anau to Invercargill, camps along Highway 6 are all on the side of the road. It's too noisy and crowded until it reaches here... Next to a court, there is no sign of the camp, but no camping The brand, we stayed here based on the location on the map, and we slept quietly for one night.
