Quiet campground with or without power. Friendly and helpful host. Kitchen, toilets and showers. We had a lovely secluded camp site on the river- it felt like we were alone.

Lovely campsite! For 15 dollars each you get access to a lot of facilities that are helpful for road trippers, including things like fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms and showers. The owner is super friendly and accomodating.

We stayed for one night and found it so hard to leave. Gorgeous little campsite and the owners are a really lovely family who made us feel so welcome. We had a powered site. Had booked one by the water but was not available when we arrived. It was fine though... The bathroom was clean. Hot showers, laundry and kitchen facilities also. I would definitely recommend and visit again if I ever pass that way

Hot Showers and free Wifi for 15 NZD, its rundown and has semi clean facilities… for the money its okay i guess, i would rather pay more and have little more modern and clean facilities.

We spent one night there, it's a very beautiful place where you can park your vehicle near the river and even hear the sound of the sea in the distance. The owner who welcomed us was very kind and gave us advice for the rest of our trip, I highly recommend!

Stayed here last week. Showers need an upgrade or the price a downgrade :) Spot is cool, nice nature, lots of bird sounds.
