a bit of a exhausting hike, but totally worth it for the views you get at the top. approximate walk time: from the carpark to the hut 2h 30min; from the hut to the summit 1h 15min return; back to the carpark 1h 45min

Such a beautiful walk with an amazing sunset/sunrise. We slept in the hut which was really nice. Cold shower en drop toilet. Rob is the best!

Did the return in under 6 hours with a lunch stop at the hut. Track is no problem if you’re fit, can be slippy when track is wet so take your time. Beautiful views! Can get cold, make sure to be prepared

We took the loop track, took us 8,5 hours. It was sunny, nature a bit dry. The view around is nice. On the top was windy. Good 1 day trip.

One of my favourite overnight hikes! A great place for beginners and enthusiasts alike. A steep climb but not too long. Hut is amazing well equipped. Lookout from top such an adventure !

Amazing hike with beautiful views at the top! The last stretch before reaching the top of the Pinnacles is very challenging, don’t be afraid to get dirty. Some parts of the track were very slippery. We did it in a little more than 6 hours return, with a 30-min lunch break. Totally worth it!

Highly recommend. You can do it in one day. Very long and steep ascend but a stunning view even tho it was cloudy, rainy and windy.

Super hike, made for the sunrise, departure at 3am but nice and barrier-free

Parking for the Pinnacles Track is located at another location (end of Kauaenranga Road which is accessible from Thames). Hike is great. Especially the last ascent you should not miss (climbing heavy). Walk from car park to summit (via Webb Creek Track) and back in 5h.
