Very crowded when we arrived on jan first 2026. No sink to do the dishes, onky a small one to wash your hands. The toilets were okay. River next to the camping. Pretty green, but because it was so crowded it didnt feel really relaxing. No phone signal, no drinking water! You can get drinking water at the doc headquarter down the road.

Clean flush toilet. Campsite was quiet but was perfect for a one night stay. No service and the road up to the campsite has a lot of potholes but it’s the same road for all of the other campsites so hard to avoid.

Great place in the nature. Inside forest, beautiful river, birds chipping sound, a lot of spaces, flush toilet, picnic table. I was there two nights. Almost 3 km gravel road but we can manage..

Excellent camp to start Coromandel Park hikes. Plenty of places, clean toilets, possibility of washing dishes, no drinking water, no internet connection, except with a little luck on the river side.

Ok, bit busy when we were there . Nice access to walks , can dip in the river . Toilets good

Simple site to base yourselves at to do Pinnacles. Did dip into river to cool off. Flushing toilets were also a win!

A great location after the Pinnacles Walk, flush toilets were a nice surprise. Insects were a little troublesome but site is very pretty.

Most beautiful site. We had four glorious days right on the river. Beautiful pool perfect for swimming (especially for kids, but deep enough for adults to dive too). 10/10

Clean and great spot for going on all the walks. Beautiful scenery

Fully agree with previous comment. Good firm sites for motorhomes.
