Hard to find exactly where to park at night time. Found the toilets but no signs and very isolated. Moved on

It's a very private place, beautiful and quiet. But the disadvantage is that the mobile phone signal is too poor, so we left after rest

Depends on what you're looking for. This one is more private, lost of tree and bush to park in and feel mildly secluded, versus the Whakamaru Recreation Area which has a better view, but WAY more popular. We preferred the privacy of this one, and recommend.

Nice spacious site, showers and toilets but did not find a water tap. Thanks to whoever provided and looks after the place.

At the moment the space is occupied by cows. Toilets are always available

Definitely open! & what a great spot! Was surprised to be the only one here. Field is huge - plenty of space & a few trees for shade. Toilets are clean and well stocked with loo roll & hand sanitiser. Thank you so much! :)

It seems this campsite isn't in use anymore. We were parking in the dark in the middle of the campground signs behind the planted area. You probably cannot put a tent there.
