We stayed here for a night with a tent and had a nice stay. The camping area is rather small next to a community center but the facilities are clean and working and include flush toilets, a hot shower (2$) and laundry + dryer (few dollars each). Located in a former mining town, they turned the former bosse’s villa into this facility for the community, amazing repurposing! cheap and basic but clean and convenient, would totally recommend.

Hello I am the secretary of the Community Centre. Our facilities have just been upgraded. We now have lovely new toilet facilities, a hot ($2 COIN FOR 5 MINUTES) shower. Washing and drying machines. Tenting and camper space. 3 minute walk to local hotels and parks. We'd love to have you stay. We are right next to a Kiwi reserve so dogs must be on a lead at all times.

Very small campsite, very deserted and a bit scary, women's toilet is closed, so only 1 toilet and 1 sink available. Washing laundry is possible. On Hilton Road near the playground there is a BBC station and very nice toilet facilities and showers (coins for showering can be purchased at the hotel).

Very run down buildings, shower has been vandalized recently, only cold shower. Unpowered, powered. There are outlets inside.

Was able to use the laundry despite not staying here. $2 for the washing machine (needs a $2 coin) and washing powder is provided. Dryer is 45mins for $6 (3x$2 coins) and both worked well. There is a small clothes line in the corner of the front lawn (no pegs) but this was perfect for drying clothes that couldn’t go into the dryer.

I've been coming here for years, love the town, but camping here isn't exactly low cost anymore. Hard to find a flat spot, toilet facility's not great, some improvements have been made over the years, so gravel instead of mud, automatic lights in laundry, only one toilet now though, and when people take showers it's out of commission if they lock the door

Very small camping area at front, we were unable to stay as couldn’t put any tent pegs into very rocky ground. Toilet and shower block very run down.

All at same price now , no more cheaper for non power site
