Great Campsite, suitable for tents and cars as well. The views from the lake are beautiful, specially the night sky. Toilets and showere are cleaner than many paid Campgrounds. The lake is good for kayak and stand up peadle. If you like to fish is a must! There's a nice playground area for kids too, dun for whole family.
Pleasant campsite with plenty of space. Toilets, showers, and a dishwashing area are available. Please note that the water is not potable.
Lovely place and you have everything you need: a hot shower, toilets, dish washing area, non-portable water. No sketchy people around, we felt safe. It’s in the middle of nature with an awesome view to the mountains on the one hand and the lake on the other. Would definitely recommend this place!!
Lovely grounds, very peaceful. Cooking shelter, flushing toilets, sinks for washing dishes, showers (not hot). Just bring bug spray, lots of wasps, bees, flies, and sandflies.
Stayed here on 8/01/25. Nice site with great facilities! Even a hot solar shower can you believe!? Lots of families and people of all walks of life. Just make sure to bring your own water.
This is a great campsite. Clean, litter free and well maintained. A lovely place to park your van or pitch a tent. Yes, it is free but a donation is asked for and surely we should oblige.
Fairly quiet campsite, large area to park, toilets were clean, solar shower, available although did not use, lake isn’t the best to swim in (lots of reeds and muddy). Boil water before drinking. Phone signal dips in and out.
Quiet very quiet, lots of birds, large areas to park, flush toilets with paper and soap, running water but must boil before you drink, covered eating area, rubbish bins, can put your tent up
Would have been a lovely place to stay but I don’t support segregation and the council has made the toilets vaccine passport required here.
Lovely area lovely lake. Toilets and lovely solar showers which are hot by about 10am on a hot day. No cooking facilities though
