Solo female traveler: A man permanently lives in his trailer here. I was the only other camper. He looked all around my van and it made me feel uncomfortable so I drove to a different spot.
Someone parked living long term in a caravan so didn't stay
It is a very nice place, we were alone, the toilets close at 9:30ish pm It is a little noisy in the morning with the coffee vendor
Great spot for 4 vans only. Clean toilets & changing room facilities but car campers please don’t wash up and leave food in the sink in here - we don’t want more freedom camping spots removed, just get a collapsable washing up bowl and dispose in YOUR waste water. Lots of dog walkers in the morning and an awesome cafe about 10 steps away which opens early for breakfast & coffees!
Great locationQuiet The toilets were still open at 9:30 p.m. One night out of two a security car came by to check if everything was okayRemember not to arrive too late, not after 7 p.m.Morning coffee on weekdays is not unpleasantWater point other than the toilets and the car just in caseLots of dogs every day, the park is dog-friendly
There is an exercise group that comes to the park at 5:30am Wednesdays and Fridays, very friendly but will Likley wake you as they pull in and set up so be prepared for that. It’s a great spot with very small parking spaces, nice coffee and friendly locals.
Such a lovely spot in the park. Only 4 spaces and two were available when we arrived. However they aren't massive spaces so maybe not best for bigger campers. Toilet facilities were very clean however do close in the evening and don't re open till gone 7am which was a bit annoying. A lovely spot but it is a very busy area so if you don't want cars and people around in the evening I wouldn't recommend - but it didn't bother us!
It felt very safe. It was busy in the morning with people using the park. Great little coffee place right in the parking lot. The toilets do close later in the evening and open again around 6:30am. They were very clean. Would definitely stay again!
Public parking with 4 spaces for freedom camping. Right next door there are modern and very clean bathrooms with changing rooms, hand soap, hand dryer and drinking water fountain. In the morning the girls' bathroom was quite dirty, I think someone cleaned their dishes in the sinks and left everything dirty. There is a small coffee stand open in the morning.
Nice open carpark! 4 spots available next to the public bathroom. Apparently closes at night! (I didn’t have an issue with this) lots of locals jogging and walking their dogs here so I felt safe camping here. You can get drinkable water here which is a huge plus!!!!
