Good for a one-night stopover, traffic is pretty quiet at night and picks up around 6am. We had no problem getting signal here. No restrooms.
Really on the side of the road, and no network. Go 20 minutes further north to Lake Tutira Camping Area (not listed on campervan but great spot)
All this area doesn’t have mobile signal neither Vodafone or Spark. Very lonely spots. It still open but no campers around.
The thunderous sound of the logging trucks started at about 5.30am. It's a nice spot with a couple of interesting walks but if you plan to stay overnight, you will be forced to wake very early. I gave up trying to sleep at 7am and went for a walk in the bush. Sleep tight and dont let the logging trucks bite. ?
Lovely short bush walk with interesting information boards makes for an enjoyable break while travelling.
