It was fine… just pulled to the side on the gravel. Bathrooms were yucky, womens had a cockroach in it, trash all over, mens was locked with a box of clothes sitting outside. Seems like it was a beautiful place but has fallen a bit into disrepair. Worked for a night tho

small little town, nice for a relaxed day to just walk around men’s bathroom wasn’t the cleanest but doable, went in after dark and never seen any birds in there as stated in a couple past reviews! there’s is no sign posted that is a freedom camp, had no issues though and was the only van there! just a little grass lot next to the washrooms but it’s not all flat!

really nice stay. quaint town. felt very safe. the wc were in rough shape. rubbish, no bins, no tp. i added a rubbish bag & put all rubbish inside it (for women's); hopefully when the bag is full another kind soul will take it with them as this is a pack in, pack out site. didn't hear any trains. did a nice stroll through 'town' past the sheep and goats. all friendly!

We arrived at around 7pm on Feb 28. We were the first to arrive and we were three in the end. Lots of room for many. It's a very quiet area and didn't hear any trains that night. The toilets were good with sink and running water. Don't forget your flashlight when going to the toilet after dark.

Nice quiet spot in Don Middleton Park, alongside a no through Rd. Rather ramshackle- looking toilets but looked usable, although we didn't. There's an abandoned rugby clubroom and village store nearby. And a sheep sale yard which hasn't been used for ages so there's a bit of an air of a ghost town, but every local we saw gave a friendly wave! Railway line is adjacent, but only a couple of slow lumbering goods trains went by.

Lovely secluded spot, quiet and peaceful. We haven't heard a single train (Sunday evening into Monday morning). Women's toilet is nicer than men's but the latter is untidy rather than dirty in itself. The town itself is a bit ghostly but the railway disaster memorial about five mins walk away is pretty great

Ok for one night. As prevoius comment, not sure where exactly this place is. Not any sign, but grassy space and toilet seems to be right place. Flushy toilet, but no toilet paper, soap, not dirty but untidy

Like the other reviewer, it's not super obvious where to stay, but there is plenty of space at the side of a very quiet road so we parked up near the loos. Quiet all night, no disturbances except a few trains rumbling past - only one woke me up briefly in the night. The women's loo is better than the mens (apparently). The men's has a swallows nest which I actually see as a positive, but maybe not for everyone! Leaves on the floor in the ladies but the loo seat was clean and it flushed.

Not sure of the place (near the public toilet?) Because there were no signs or explanations. However, the area seemed to match. So we settled on the air next to the toilet. We spent the night alone. Very quiet place with just a railway track behind but only 2 or 3 passages from 5 p.m. to 8 a.m. 😀 perfect! On the other hand, the toilet is very dirty in the men's room but apparently better in my women's room! In the men's room there are birds' nests in it that go crazy if you come back at night

Nice spot for a night, very clean toilets, sink and drinking water available. Next to the railway and a road, but not busy at all. Keep it clean!!
