It is free to stay here. If coming from the east, the road is gravel & graded in many places. Uncomfortable in a 2W motorhome but do-able.. The Alexandra side is sealed. A lovely, expansive site and very level. Lovely pub & very friendly locals.
Wonderful campsite. Lot's of space, clean longdrop toilet and a water from a tab to wash hands! Lovely.
Huge site, allows lots of space between people. Lovely :-) Minimal facilities - ideal if you are self contained
Lovely spot to wake up to with heaps of space. Easy to find, only one long drop for a large area but don’t let that dampen the stay!
Lots of space ! … beautiful spot … crazy gold mining area that remain and the Lake . V quiet nites .. 1st was very very windy and we rocked all nite .. 2nd was as calm as can be ( that’s life on the road and nz summers) … is always interesting watching how many campers /caravans/buses .. Campers arrive n leave .. Enjoy this cool area
Lots of space and a clean long drop toilet. Only few minutes from the Blue Lake. Had a beautiful sunset there by the lake :)
Great free spot in a big paddock. Access to Blue lake via a short walk. Dog friendly plus a long drop toilet. Plenty of space for all.
Plenty of space in a big field. Mind the potholes at the entrance. One long drop toilet. Very windy but very quiet. Signal was in out and out, but mostly out. Very nice place overall.
A great spot to park up with a loo. The turn in through the gate is sharp for long Van's etc.
Great spot here, very spacious. Not much shelter from the wind gusts. Felt sorry for people in tents. Great location to explore St Bathans - lamb shanks dinner at The Vulcan Hotel was delicious.
