Small gravel area, just off the main road. We were the only car there for the night and felt very safe. Could hear the brook which was nice. Next to a road so can hear lorries/trucks driving past however not many of them. No facilities but fine if you’re self-contained

Good little spot. There was some more sites down the hill, but was chained off. I stayed in the little site to the right. Slept great. Neat there is a creek too

Lovely little town, not busy at weekend. People might come by walking their dogs. Refreshing stream right next to it, we had the whole place for ourselves for 2 nights, like having your own backyard. Not much road noise after 19:00, surely you can have a good night sleep.

Had a lovely stay here last night. Very tranquil next to the stream and amongst lovely gardens. Had no issues with noise despite being right next to the road. Would stay here again!

If you want to see mount Taranaki from the carpark this is not the place for that.. Not the best for light sleepers since during the night the Street light are really bright and you can hear the cars that passing (not too many but still it is very close to the road) . Other than that during the day it is a nice place.

Lovely spot! Quiet little town, the sound of the stream is relaxing. There are toilets next to the 4 Square supermarket about 100m up the road. Also has a water fountain there. You can also see the mountain from the road.

Really quiet spot. Close to the small town. Got this place to ourselves. Felt safe but few cars parked next to our van at 1.30am and 4am. Leaving pretty soon after, felt weird. No facilities, good for one night.

Beautiful spot and close to town. Found drinking water nearby on end of Fire Station about 200m opposite side of road. Love the sound of the steam and views to Mt Taranaki

We had this spot to ourselves. Very quiet. No facilities but fine if you are self contained. Pop into Hollard Gardens - lovely, well maintained local gardens. Friendly local people too.

Small tranquil spot. The river and gardens set the scene. No toilets but if Self sufficient no problem. It was a wet night but the rain and river was a comforting sound as we were tucked in our cosy van. Felt safe and it was quiet, just out of small main town. Recommend it.
