Stayed one night in my NSC,need to walk through the field to go to toilet. Will need a good curtain as there's a big light on all day.
Campsite next to a sports field for a maximum of 3 vehicles; both NSC and SC permits were allowed. A vehicle drove by in the evening for inspection. At night, a bright light shone from the sports field. The buildings around the site were run-down, and one door rattled constantly in the wind, which was quite irritating. The toilets were okay, but a short walk past the tennis court. I stayed there one night over the weekend, and there was only one other vehicle, which arrived late.
Totally fine for a night or two. There’s a big light which is helpful for cooking in the evening but you might want good curtains or window shades to sleep. toilets 100m away
Quet campsite. Toilets bear by. No shower. 3 Cars allowed at the same time.
Toilets were disgusting ?
Great spot. Only 3 cars allowed but there were noone to check this... Beautiful spot to see the summit of the Mount Taranagi. Toilets are 2 min to walk. Were open all day. We felt safe and enjoyed our stay.
Good Spot. Very calm. Only three Cars allowed but there was noone who checked this (there were für cars there during our stay). Clean toilets within 2 Minutes of Walking. If you have good weather you will see the Mount Taranaki during Breakfast. We enjoyed it.
Great free spot. Toilets are close, although we thought they were closer at first. Be aware that you have to walk past the sportfields to get there. Overall a very quiet, relaxed spot if you don't want to spend any money.
Had a great night there. Really quite at night and nice clean toilets... Open over night and with light :)
Nice place, quiet. A little walk to the toilet throw the tennis court but not so bad. The limit is only for 3 cars but we were alone there. Good place to not self contained and close to the Taranaki :)
