All the beachfront freedom camping was more than full with poor signage and we didn’t want to risk a fine. Stayed here on a Monday night instead, we were the only ones here, didn’t get woken, peaceful night. Didn’t see the area as it was just a pit stop for us to get some sleep.
I was here on a Friday after 6 pm and the toilets were locked. I was the only camper on the site. Many children were playing in the park and on the skate park.
Arrived at 830pm and one of the two spots was still available. Didn't use these toilets until the morning so I couldn't say whether they were locked overnight or not. But they were clean, spacious, and well stocked. Overhead light was super bright and on all night. Itd in the middle of the city and the cell Singal was fine.
At 6 p.m. all places are full or overcrowded. We won't take the risk of a $400 fine
Two large camping spots, toilets near by and was quiet what more can you want
Only two seats. We arrived at 5pm and one was already busy in the middle of winter! No toilet. Don't worry, on Saturday mornings there is a market in the nearby square. Silent!
Nice quiet campsite. The toilets are locked pretty early in the evening but are open early in the morning. Easy walk or bike to town, restaurants, shops.
Arrived here a little late, and both spaces were still empty. The toilets were not far away. It was very quiet until morning, with no issues or strange encounters. Quite a nice spot.
Quiet, clean toilets (closed at night but open early in the morning)& no weird people. Felt safe! Only 2 spots vor SC vehicles. Especially nice with children, because skatepark, playground & footballfield is right there.
One night stop. 2 spaces. No toilets / no shower; Grass area, playground for kids and in the morning a nice little market to get fresh vegetables.
