Small but lovely site. Staff are amazing (even got puppy cuddles from Bruce the dog!). Really clean facilities and great showers. Small kitchen and have to bring your own cooking utensils, pans etc. Really near town. Stayed a few times and always felt welcome.

This is a superb camp ground. Small but we stayed on 4 occasions across a 6 month period and always got a spot. I think there is a new manager and he is very friendly (and his dog Bruce is gorgeous). The shower facilities in particular are exceptional.

Very small site, but fully functional. We were happy to have all the facilities close by. Good for a one day stay

Really clean and new-looking facilities, especially the bathrooms- unlimited hot, nice, clean, spacious showers. We stayed in one of the campervan spots at the back near the stream, good size spots for a relatively small camp, powered gravel sights with personal dump stations. Good wifi. Felt safe despite closeness to city.

10 points, the best city campsite we ever had. Friendly staff, all tip top clean. small and fine. 20 min walk from the city

Most of site looks nice including facilities but there are 6 pitches crammed next to office. When you book they are the ones with no pictures. Less space than any of the freedom car parks I have stayed in. Also no access to dump station as they are on individual larger pitches. Prices are same irrelevant of pitch you get, it would be ok if they were priced accordingly.

Impeccable! New and very clean sanitary facilities. All amenities. Friendly welcome. Tree between the campervans. Highly recommended!

The main pitches on this site are excellent. However we got allocated a tiny gravel pitch adjacent to the entrance and main road. It is certainly the worst we have experienced in 4 weeks on South Island. There were 6 “pitches” which apparently were not previously bookable on line - frankly no better than a cramped trailer park. Is it sheer greed to book these pitches out - especially as we were paying the same as those with 4 times our area and not on the entrance. Check carefully!

Really nice. Very good facilities, quiet, clean and friendly. The park is small and vans well spaced. Bit of a trek to town and beach and not in the nicest of areas but good new world within walking distance. Recommend if you want a good nights sleep
