During the rainy weather we preferred to sleep here for the night and we do not regret our choice. Indeed, for $15/pp you have access to the shower, toilet and kitchen very well equipped in addition. The inside of the bar is amazing with pool and something to eat and drink. The parking for van is quite limited, we were 2 this evening there but a 3rd could come home.

we bought drinks at the bar and still had to pay to stay here so just warning you that free stay is not always the case.

great spot for the night! only a couple min walk from the beach! has a hot tub to use which is included in the $15pp aswell as hot showers and toilets to use for the night good food inside, and got lucky being the only van parked here for the night highly recommend!

What a gem. Looks unassuming from the outside but this is a great spot! Excellent facilities with hobs, oven ect and a really cosy pub-like communal area to chill in. Showers are hot with great pressure (and included). You get access to a hot tub (yes seriously) all for $15pp! You will be parking in a carpark but who cares for all that. Also walking distance to a lovely lake for the morning. Pub itself is really modern and cool inside. If you're in Hokitika, seriously drive to this place!

Fantastic spot for a place to camp near Hokitika. Best value for $15 PP we’ve had anywhere in NZ. WiFi, showers, hot tub, kitchen and flushing toilets all included. Also great food and drinks available for purchase. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Really great camp spot for only $15 pp! We really needed a place with a shower and decided to try this place and it was fab. Carpark is pretty close to the showers and toilet, plus there was even a jacuzzi you could use. Facilities seemed quite new and updated and the pub was great to get a feed at. Receptionist was really accomodating and it wasn’t too busy. (Only thing is the mosquitos are all in the toilets so just have to shake out the shower curtain!)

Limited parking here. $15 per person with access to the showers, toilets and shared kitchen. The showers (excellent shower pressure) and toilets were clean and well maintained. If there's space, a great last minute option, we booked in at about 11pm.

Paid for drinks and crisps at the bar, and asked about camping fees. Free of charge if there was space around the back as buying in the bar.

Lady at the bar let us stay round the back in our van for free. Facilities are supposed to be $10 for the night but we bought food and drinks so we’re told we could use them for free. Driftwood beach a short walk away, nice for a small bonfire and some beers

Just like a Britstop in the UK! We ordered drinks and snacks and asked about campervan parking. Very friendly barman was happy to let us stay as we were buying. Lovely driftwood beach 10mins walk away. Good beer. Food looked great but we missed the kitchen closing time.
