Really lovely site and (for me) all the better for NOT being in town. Very clean, good spacing so not on top of each other, super friendly and helpful staff at reception and lots of facilities to cater for most needs. I'll definitely use this placed again next time I'm this way.

Place is very clean, all equipment worked well. Staff was not friendly though. We felt not welcomed.

Beautiful and peaceful. Tucked in the middle of the forest right next to Blue Lake (Public access) and very close access the the Whakarewarewa Forest Loop mountain bike trail (which I rode yesterday and it was amazing!) well maintained facilities and a super friendly staff. Do it!

The best campsite since we arrived in NZ!! Superb service and facilities. The individual showers are very clean, some with a view of the lake. The kitchen has great equipment, including large griddles. There's also a pump track, a children's playground, and fun bikes 😀.

Nice site on the lakes edge. Good facilities. Plenty of hooks and shelves in the shower and a mat to keep feet dry.

Campground is lovely located near the lake. Facilities are sufficient and clean. Playground with trampoline for kids. Nothing to complain about in general.

The site showers and staff not up to top 10 standard would not recommend.the location is nice but a 15 minute drive to town the staff at reception aren't very helpful when it comes to local information there's no shuttle like in Queenstown so between 9 and 10 at night theres lots of vans coming in from the shows in town. the water pressure is terrible 😔 it took me at 30 to fill our van with water and the shower 🚿 pressure with every time someone flushes the loo you get only hot water

Good campsite with hedges either side your spot for privacy! Good and clean facilities, little bit far out of town for the price but beautiful lake nearby.

I lost my gold chain here which has great sentimental value, I think in the ladies showers. Please if anyone’s found it call me 027 369 7636. Will reward if found
