closed during winter, but if you text the owner they should let you stay anyway? great site even just for a day visit, even had a chimney someone left behind so got to make a fire! lovely site would visit again
Very quiet but a bit creepy place . A lot of empty caravans, weird. Good toilets and beautiful lake .
Not bad at all! Tent, season pass holders, or camper vans and caravans. Lake is beautiful. Has a boat launch, lots of trees with decent shade. It was hot this weekend (32°) but able to cool off in the water. The kids loved it! No campfires at night, but otherwise great first camping experience in NZ!
As the one night camping space is so far from the toilet we paid for a place to park (small) and a dump station.
Nice place right on the lake. My children were happy about the swing over the water. Toilets were very clean.
Great place. Camped right on edge of lake in 1 night stay area. Enjoyed swimming in lake. There are toilets and rubbish bins but in only one area of a large camp ground. Water has to be boiled.
Beautiful camp, lovely view to wake up to! Very quiet and clean toilets :)
Had the place to ourselves by the lake. Great swimming. Felt like wild camping with a flush toilet Some permanent caravans but very few people there.
Spent a couple of nights here- a busy time with many regular campers and families staying. Great toilets , rubbish stations and dump station. Beautiful location by lake aviemore
Found $ 25 for 2 adults rather expensive Toilets were clean, room to make was enough
