Creepy place. Dirty toilet. Should not charge you for staying there. The only good thing is that you are quite near Milford Sound to start your trip in the morning

Lots of sandflies so be prepared. No freedom camping option around. We stayed here as it had good phone signal. Just 1 drop loo, doesn’t smell too bad, have been in worse. Have to book and pay online before 8pm

There’s better campsites available in the park if you have the option. Limited space, smelly toilet, little cell service (Jetpack) - otherwise clean and good view of fields and mountains.

MUST BE BOOKED BEFORE 8 P.M. Tiny camp, toilet smells, but not that dirty.

$15 NZD per adult probably not worth this amount. Had an unclean toilet and no phone reception. The view was very nice from the Lake and plenty of spots

At first wanted to camp here for a night but decided to travel further for a camping with a nicer view. This site contains a small site for several campervans. Unfortunately, the river is hard to see since there are a lot of trees. Glad I traveled further, one camping further (Totara) have a nicer few and more space!!

Decent spot for the night but so like every campsite near Milford sound there can be lots of sandflies. Just keep all doors shut and you should be fine.

Not worth the 15 dollars each at all. Considering you pay the same for deers flat and cascade.. This site is TINY 5 cars maybe 6 if small campers no view. However toilet is clean and is just fine as a stop over to Milford sound but others are much better

Really bad toilet full of flies and extreme smell. Everywhere biting flys.

Great campsite, better suited to small vehicles for the real nice spots. When you get down the wee hill, if you’re no bigger than say our 7-metre Sprinter van you can head down to the left, if it’s not busy. These limited spots here are gorgeous, but lots of tree cover so not very good for solar, or Starlink. On the other side, to the right, is a larger area, more suited for bigger vehicles, but not as serene I guess. We’ve stayed before, but moved on this time. @tasmantravels
