We enjoyed our stay, very quiet even though it’s just off the road! Bathrooms were much better then everyone said, on a scale of drop toilets definitely one of the better ones we’ve been too! August 14th, 2026

Campsite was next to the main road but minimal noise. Toilet was not has bad as other comments mentioned and wasn't really smelly. Hardly any motorhomes / vans were at the site.

Beautiful place, a lot of space. Toilets dry and dirty enough. but otherwise beautiful location.

Location is nice, loads of space however the drop toilets are the worse I’ve seen in free camps full of flys and insects. We left due to it.

It’s a nice place for a one night stay, next to the road but not so nosy. No flowers at the end of february. Left a pair of boots there, if you see them feel free to take them!! (26/02/26)

FREE campsite. Next to road, good for a night en route to elsewhere. 2 toilets, 1 lock didn't work - quite stinky but clean.

Plenty of space, arrived at 20:30. 2 long drop toilets on site. Recommended

It’s free to stay there for the night (i checked the DOC site). Campground with 2 toilets, lots of space, in the middle of nowhere. Recommand 100%.

Great spot. It is right next to the road but it's not too noisy at night. 2 toilets and free to stay. Also had phonr reception.
