A grassy area facing the sea, very quiet and pleasant. No permit is required during the winter, but one must be obtained during the summer. Cell phone reception is limited, and public restrooms are 300 meters away.

Large lawn right behind the dunes with plenty of space for campers. This place, unfortunately, has no toilets. In itself a very quiet area, we only got a visit in between by a very large dog that belonged to the neighbor.

A wonderful spot for a few days relaxing. Plenty of spots available, we were lucky enough to get an individual space just past South domain area. Swimming is awesome, great body boarding waves, feels safe. Good 4 square, Cafe and yummy fish and chip shop. Pub worth a visit. You need to bring plenty of water. At the motor camp you can use dump station and fill up with water. They suggest you boil water for drinking. Very cheap for 3 people for 10 days. Thanks East Coast , a special part on NZ.

Paradise! Beach front, quiet. Dogs loved it. Great for walking. Local pub n 4 Square. Take care if there has been a lot of rain - ground v soft, will need 4x4. Michelle and Richard
