It’s just field, there is a stuff which seems toilet. Way too far compare with what it is.
Absolutely Strange Campground. No signs or anythings. I arrived in the evening by my self and was expecting for more people to come after. I endet up staying the whole night, by my self, in the middle of the forest wich was a bit creepy. The long drive through the forest is in my opinion not worth the trip. But anyways if you like to escape from society the is the place to be.
Der beste der 5 Campingplätze hier. Riesengroß und auch bei Regen kein Problem.
Nice place, many places, the road to here is not that bad even though it does take a while.
It's a beautiful place within a great forrest. If you want to be isolated from the rest of civilisation it's the perfect place. - there is no signposted from DOC - one huge area and a lot of small isolated areas - aproximate 15km from start of clements road gravel part or 30min - we can't find water supply - 1 toilet - a lot of fire pits - could see 3 picnic benches
This is the best place if you're doing hunting, a great place to take off from as a base camp area, has water near by for a fridge "trust me the water is that cold " And over the next hill up the road for clean drinking water. I've been hunting there for more than 35 years and love it. It's quiet it's out of the way and cold in winter and hot in summer.
Lots of places, not really worth driving that far. Otherwise ok.
Not well signed at all so it was a bit confusing to find and very swampy if it's been raining. If you're planning on only staying the one night it's not worth the long drive on the very narrow, winding gravel road
The campsite was fine, very basic but be aware it takes a while to get to so not necessarily worth it for a single night's stay. From the point that the road turns to gravel we measured it as a 10km drive through the forest - not terribly far but in our van we're pretty slow on gravel roads and it seemed to go on forever... We chose it because it was free but I think in hindsight I would've saved the hassle and forked over some money for a paid site.
Brilliant place to camp...BUT... Please take your rubbish away with you.. If you need help ask any othet camper there most are hunters they will help you out
