Harataonga Campsite:
* Located near a beautiful beach, with a short 5-10 minute walk.
* Coastal Track starts at the campsite.
* Narrow dirt road access, potentially challenging for larger vehicles, but good for smaller camper vans.
* Facilities are a bit outdated compared to other Department of Conservation (DoC) sites.
* Good sized campsite with a lovely location.
* Worth visiting, especially for the beach and surrounding walking tracks.
* Notes on vehicle size: suitable for 6m camper vans, and 7m motorhomes with good ground clearance.
