really nice spot. 3 vehicles max. quiet. felt safe. the walk around the marsh is lovely. no toilets, but can stroll the ~10 mins around the marsh to the carlton reserve and use those. has a gate but didn't seem to be locked the night i stayed
Very quiet place to spend the night, gates are closing at night (9h30pm in the summer)
Hidden gem. No looks but so quiet and cute
Nice spot, the park is pretty! Gate close at 6pm and open at 5 am (winter). No toilets and water
First timers FC and this was our first spot. It was quiet and empty all night. Highly recommend
Okay spot. Arrived late and left for a sunrise hike in the dark so hard to comment too much. A few mosquitoes around. Quiet except a few trains in the distance. Would definitely only fit 2 vans comfortability. Seemed much safer than others in the area.
No mosquitoes. No boy-racers. Just a pleasant couple of bays to park up for the night. The nearby train offers a gentle, rocking lullaby. Great place for a night.
Pretty quiet but as other people have said, it fits 2.5 vans ? So realistically 2, not 3. Lots of mosquitoes at night so keep your windows closed. Heard the train a couple of times before going to sleep but didn’t wake me up in the night even though I’m a light sleeper. No toilets nearby but overall a nice, quiet spot for a Saturday night. Barriers open at 5:30 am and close at 9 pm
Nice spot to stay, says 3 but probably only two could really fit! Gates closed at about 9.30 but was good cause it was full anyway! There is a train track close and I did hear it come through a few times but it didn’t bother me
Close very early..
