We didn’t actually end up walking here because of the weather but the DOC rangers at the spirits bay camp said they would allow us to park up and would watch our van for a donation to the local Iwi so we could walk in to Pandora. There is a car park on the main road but it’s right on the road.

Great spot for walkers from spirits

Space is only accessible by boat or on foot. A local told us that there is no access. Unfortunately, Freedom Camping is also prohibited in Cape Reinga without signs.
