Very secluded and quiet, can drive all the way into the forest and park under the trees. We camped in a tent, and made use of the fire pits. Lots of sandflies, even in late Autumn, but the smoke from the fire seemed to deter them a bit. Toilets are really smelly, as no one props the door open. No phone signal at all.

Beautiful campsite in the forest. Toilet was disgusting but the forest is most beautiful I have ever seen!

Lovely site on the lake with potential, however we were unable to stay here as two young girls as it felt unsafe, especially with no phone signal and long gravel track to enter and leave. There was one other car which turned out to be an unfriendly looking man who came up to and peered inside our van whilst we were sat inside. We felt very on edge and left after this.

The campground is behind the boat parking space. Very nice for car + tent, decently for small Vans (Toyota Hiace was fine, though not very even) and not suitable for Maui Ships and other Motorhomes. Don't worry about too many people. You will probably on your own, if it's not high season. No signal.

Hello my fellow friends, I can confirm the toilet does stink. But is tolerable if your quick and fast. Sandflies and mozzies are bad at certain times Randomly 5am-7am got destroyed. If you wanna swim walk down the boat ramp or you will get a muddy foot. The other side of the gravel bridge is beautiful and peaceful it’s a shame you can’t camp on that side. Plenty of spots to pull up in a van. Overall not a bad stop over. Make sure you ground ya feet in the soft bush track. The Cooks

Nice spot but we our Jucy Crib was invaded by mosquitos, we killed 100+ before going to bed and woke up with a lot in the front of the campervan. Must have got in through vents but they were unbearable whilst we were there. Must be the season. Managed to get phone signal if you walk down the track along the lake

Nice quiet spot next to the lake, a long gravel track to get to the spot though. Wouldn’t stay more than one night.

Good spot, many birds singing in the morning!! We had no phone signal, but we enjoyed the quite evening with no disturbing phone :)

We got here in the dark and didn’t fully understand where to park. We ended up on a gravel parking lot, but the actual site was just a little bit further up the road. Thankfully we stayed on the gravel though, because we had lots of rain and would’ve gotten stuck in the mud up there. It’s winter and we were the only ones there. No sandflies this time of year
